Singapore Airlines (SIA) and Grab has announced a partnership to provide customers with more seamless travel experiences by integrating their mobile apps to allow customers in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam travelling to the airport to book a Grab ride via the SingaporeAir mobile app.
Using the SIA app, customers will be presented with an option to book a Grab ride to the airport seven days before their scheduled flight. Selecting that option automatically opens the Grab app so that customers can order a Grab ride with the airport already listed as the destination.
As an additional benefit under this new partnership, members of SIA’s KrisFlyer and Grab’s GrabRewards programmes can enjoy additional perks like converting GrabRewards points into KrisFlyer miles which they can then redeem for award flights or upgrades.
As a fun little promotion, the two companies are offering one pair of Economy Class tickets to The Maldives in a contest. To take part, you simply have to use the code GRABSQ when booking a Grab ride between 11th October to 11th November. The customers with the most rides booked using that promo code during the period will win!
Grab today is in more than 100 cities across seven countries including Singapore, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Myanmar. Singapore Airlines operates services to over 60 destinations in more than 30 countries on five continents worldwide.
