The global leader and expert in developing and shaping international tourism and aviation demand and spend, with 64 offices in 47 countries around the world, has been appointed by TAP Air Portugal to handle the airline’s sales and service centre activities in Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. As the agreement came into effect earlier this month on 1st October, TAP Air Portugal’s own dedicated offices in the Netherlands and Belgium shut down with AVIAREPS’ Belgian and Dutch operations now conducting the airline sales and support service centres in these markets. For now, TAP Air Portugal’s Luxembourg office remains fully functional and has been incorporates as an AVIAREPS entity.
On the other continent, South African airline CemAir has appointed AVIAREPS to represent them as general sales agent (GSA) in Germany and the United Kingdon with immediate effect. This was done as a result of CemAir’s international sales network expansion initiative to target the many holiday and business travellers visiting South Africa from the UK and Germany by positioning its scheduled domestic services as the preferred choice when travelling between South Africa’s major tourist and business destinations.
